Example One - 1 Acre Pond Upgrade & Refresh

This geothermal pond did not hold water and was undersized, and too shallow. We drained the pond, caught and removed all the fish and stored them in holding ponds we built for the project. We removed the geothermal units and excavated the 1 acre pond. Excavating to a depth of 20 feet and increasing the size of the pond by a half acre, creating a 1 1/2 acre pond for the geothermal units. We lined the pond and incorporated a wetland filter with waterfalls to recirculate the water and add visual appeal. We installed a negative edge overflow design and added a aeration system to optimize the pond's function.

Example TWO - KOI Pond conversion

We converted an old Koi pond into a natural filter swimming pool. We drained the pond and removed all the koi and put them in holding tanks to be transferred. The old liner was removed and the concrete was prepped and a concrete floor was poured. We coated the entire natural swimming pool area with an epoxy. We then installed a skimmer and built a small recirculating waterfall that cascades into the swimming pool. The filtration for the natural swimming pool is a large wetland filter we built that has a 200-foot stream with waterfalls that wraps around the house and feeds the natural swimming pool. The result is a stunning and unique addition to the landscape. This conversion added significant value to the property.

Example THREE - Custom resort style pond

This custom naturally filtered swimming pond was constructed for one of our clients, providing them with a visually stunning swimming experience right next to their home. It gives the effect of living in a luxurious resort. We built the swimming pond to be filtered with a large wetland filter that cascades through a meandering stream back to the pond. There are multiple tall waterfalls including ones to jump from. There are lots of water plants in designated areas of the swimming pond. We built a negative edge skimmer for removing debris from the water that cascades 100 feet down a stream into the gravel filter negative edge resivor. We installed night lighting throughout the waterfalls and swimming pond to create a magical nighttime experience.

Example four - pond expansion & upgrade

This project had a existing pond that did not hold water or have easy access to the pond. We excavated the pond to a depth of 18 feet and increased its size to approximately 1 1/2 acres. We lined the pond and built a top shelf in the pond for easy access, and also a beach. Large boulders were implemented to define the shoreline and protect the dam. We built a large wetland filter with a low profile waterfall to add in purifying the water and recirculating it. Aeration was installed providing oxygen throughout the pond. The finished result is an amazing swimming pond that the owners happily enjoy with family and friends.

Example five - natural style recreational pond

We constructed a one acre natural filtered swimming pond equipped with a negative edge filter and a substantial wetland filter to purify the water. We excavated to a depth of 12 feet and lined the pond. We built a large wetland filter with multiple waterfalls that cascade back to the pond. The shorelines were densely populated with various water plants to give the area a natural aesthetic and provide a habitat for avian and aquatic species.

Example six - Campground Swimming pond

At Whispering Pines Campground we constructed a swimming pond of approximately 1 acre, complete with waterfalls and a substantial wetland filter. We excavated to a depth of 6 feet with a walkable gradual slop to the bottom. Sand was spread over the entire liner of the pond and also around the perimeter of the pond, creating a beach around the entire swimming pond. A large heavily planted wetland filter cleans the swimming pond and an intake bay skimmer collects debris that fall into the pond. Large outcropping boulders highlight big waterfalls, creating a stunning addition to the swimming pond.
